[Inspiration]

24 Jan

While having a lunch time blog hunt I came across these rather amazing images.

Struggling with inspiration at the moment but these at least made me feel a bit better.

[Watercolour Eyes]

3 Dec

Marion Bolognesi is quite the artist. I first noticed her when she collaborated with 55DSL for their Spring Summer range earlier this year. Her art is obvious, you can spot a piece of her work a mile off. She captures beauty through the eyes. The colours are always mixed but never messy and the line that drip like tears down the paintings.

I’m definately a fan. Check out her work here.

[Paper Cutting is Cool]

25 Nov

Today I discovered something very artistic that no doubt I will never be able to do. I would like to introduce, for your aesthetic pleasure, Elsita and her paper cutting handmade art. I once attempted this during my A-Level years, and have a scar on my foot from where it went a little wrong with the knife.

Before you click away thinking this is going to be a weird collage of stuff similar to a stamp collection and about as interesting – scroll down.

Impressive stuff no?

[M&S Christmas]

12 Nov

It’s not any star studded Christmas advert…it’s an M&S star studded Christmas advert.

And it’s my guilty pleasure, can’t help but grin from ear to ear.

[Movember]

3 Nov

Movember (the month formerly known as November) is a moustache growing charity event held during November each year that raises funds and awareness for men’s health.

Gentlemen – this is what you’ve been waiting for! For one month and one month only you can grow a cheeky tash without your girlfriend getting angry, irritated or embarrassed.

If your stuck for inspiration on tash-tastic grooming – here are some graphics that might help you along your way.

[Sandpit]

2 Nov

The sandpit is a video of a day in the life of New York City, as seen in miniature.

Shot by Sam O’Hare. It is shot on a Nikon D3 (and one shot on a D80), as a series of stills.

The original music is by Human, co-written by Rosi Golan and Alex Wong. The piece was created for and inspired by the film.
